Stacey Umeh is one of Australia’s leading elite Women’s Artistic gymnastics coaches and movement specialists, having choreographed the 2010 World Champion on Floor Exercise and Olympian (Lauren Mitchell) as well as having coached such successful Australian female gymnasts as Lisa Skinner, Danielle Kelly, Naomi Russell, Amber Fulljames. She has also acted as a creative movement consultant to many other Gymnastics, Synchronized Swimming, Dance and Figure Skating champions including 1994 Commonwealth Games Gymnastics All-Around Champions.

Here in Australia, Stacey has utilized her knowledge and expertise as a Coach, choreographer and Program Manager for the Queensland Academy of Sport Women’s program, as a professional dancer for a samba troupe in Brisbane, and as the director of her movement consultancy company called The Creative Movement Group Pty Ltd. Stacey has spent almost 25 years in Canada, Australia, the United States and Japan, working with both elite and everyday people alike, assisting them to maximize their physical potential. Recently, Stacey has been commissioned to work with the Synchronised Swimming Team in their preparation for the Rio Olympic Games. Stacey’s expertise in body conditioning, flexibility, gymnastics and dance movement vocabularies has assisted her in creating a unique approach to physical development, health and fitness, and sports coaching.
